Allison Argent is an older teenager who has recently moved to Hawkins with her very secretive family. She’s used to moving from school to school, but her parents tell her that they’re all going to be here a while. Eventually she finds out why – Hawkins is riddled with gates to the Upside Down and weird things seem to come out of those gates. Allison comes from a family of creature hunters and they can recognize when their skills are needed. Allison’s father has decided to begin training her which means nothing but more stress and responsibility than a teenager needs.
